ANIOMA STAKEHOLDERS LAUDS NED NWOKO OVER STARS UNIVERSITY INITIATIVE

Anioma Stakeholders Laud Ned Nwoko Over STARS University Initiative

By Patrick Ochei

The Delta born billionaire and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko has been lauded for his initiative to build the first of its kind Sports University in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Nwoko was commended when an opinion sampling was randomly conducted on certain Anioma stakeholders on what they think about development in Anioma Nation, especially as it relates to projects that are of perpetual significance and value.

One of such personalities who spoke by first referring to Ned Nwoko as a generational innovator, was Her Royal Majesty, Obi Martha Dunkwu, Omu Anioma/Nneoha.

She had started by eulogizing Prince Ned Nwoko as a man who in spite of his well polished British background, has become one of the greatest Anioma patriots of our time.

According to her, "Ned did not blink an eyelid to decide where to site the University. He did not consider its economic viability in a local community most likely unknown in the world map.

"He against all odds, decided boldly to site the University in his village of Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North LGA, thereby putting the agrarian community conspicuously in the world map.

"Ned Nwoko is a brand; a University project is a brand, not to talk of a Sports University. We must commend him. This is a project everybody should embrace. He had a choice of taking it to where he will make money and better recognised for the laudable initiative, but he decided otherwise.

"Please, keep telling him that we love him. And it is my prayer that God will continue to bless him to fully bring his dream of the University to fruition", Omu Anioma prayed.

Moreso, a retired Federal Director of Education, Mr. Emma Ojei had equally spoken loudly about Prince Ned Nwoko's unflinching love for the land of his birth - Idumuje-Ugboko.

He said, no one can ever convince Ned otherwise, adding that his love for Ugboko, Anioma comes first in his scale of preference.

Ojei praised him for his bold face and doggedness in ensuring that things that will open up his community to tourism, foreign direct investment and other numerous social amenities are attracted to it.

RE-NED NWOKO IS AN EX-CONVICT. SANDRA DURU LIED AND LACKS KNOWLEDGE

RE-NED NWOKO IS AN EX-CONVICT...Sandra Duru
SANDRA LIED AND LACKS KNOWLEDGE

Austin Atikpakpa is a fraudster in Uk and a former convict who led Prince Ned Nwoko and Miss Onibudo and other solicitors into believing that he was a trainee solicitor but could not continue his training at the law firm of awtar Singh because Mr Sing just died and was a sole practitioner.

Under Uk rules only a lawyer who is 3 years call can set up his own practice. Austin said he was only one year post law school .

At this period Ned Nwoko was the Secretary General of Nigerian lawyers in Uk and Richard Akinjide was the president general.

Ned Nwoko agreed to supervise Austin otherwise Awtar Singh Solicitors will close down and he won’t be able to complete his training.

It was done in good faith to help a struggling Nigerian to qualify as a solicitor. A couple of months after agreeing to supervise his firm Ned Nwoko came to Nigeria and contested and won election into the House Of Reps in 1999.

Prince Ned Nwoko returned to Uk and notified the law society that he couldn’t continue to supervise because of his election victory in Nigeria.

Unfortunately Austin had made some unlawful claims of legal aid money whilst Ned Nwoko was in Nigeria campaigning for his elections. If Prince Ned Nwoko had remembered to write to them before he traveled to Nigeria there wouldn’t be any problem. Ned Nwoko was held vicariously liable for his actions because he ought to have been there to supervise him.

But unknown to Ned Nwoko Austin was never at the law school let alone being a trainee solicitor. He was a scammer. He claimed that he had also qualified in Nigeria at the time which was a big lie.

Infact Ned understand that when the Law Society intervened in Awtar Singh in 1999 and closed it down Austin returned to Nigeria and went to Nigeria law school.

Anyone can google Onibudo vs Law Society or click this link https://www.casemine.com/judgement/uk/5b46f20c2c94e0775e7f155b for the full evidence of Austin Atikpakpa’s deceptions revealed when Onibudo appealed against the tribunals findings at the high court.

NOTE: In any event this is a civil administrative matter and not criminal

Unimaginable, does Sandra Duru who claimed to be educated, not know what an ex convict is?.

On one breath Sandra falsely claim that prince Ned Nwoko is not a lawyer, on another you refer to an administrative ruling that shows him as a very senior lawyer engaged by a third party to supervise another firm of lawyers in London of all places.
Note that the firm in question was not his.

You are not only dishonest you are also a confused and frustrated cursed old woman.

#Ned_Nwoko_is_not_an_ex_convict

An administrative finding of improper supervision of another firm when Ned was already elected into House of Representatives in 1999 Nigeria is nothing.

Ned has held British practicing certificates every year till date. Only lawyers with clean records are issued with practicing certificates.

No one in your family or town will ever achieve his academic and professional excellence.

Why were you dying to work as an aid for him. Infact you are not qualified to work for prince Ned nwoko.
Sandra Duru on your own admission you have had problems with every man you have encountered from Madumere, Audu, Rochas and a host of others.

You must be an evil bitch who thinks she can slip into every mans bed. Once you are rejected your blackmail starts. This is your profession. You are a loose woman. Loose in tongue and loose in body.

Shameless smelling ugly bitch.

PRESS STATEMENT: NED NWOKO VINDICATED BY FG, TWITTER OFFICE OPENING AND REGULATION DEAL

Billionaire Prince Ned Nwoko feels vindicated in his support of the axing of Twitter by the Federal Government and regulation of the social media following Twitter’s acceptance to open office in Nigeria and submit to regulation.

Ned Nwoko, the initiator of Malaria Eradication in Africa project, while delivering the 2021 June 12 Annual Lecture organized by the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abuja Council, two months ago supported President Muhammadu Buhari’s ban of Twitter in Nigeria.

He stated then in response to the ban, among others: “On the current issue with Twitter in Nigeria, I wholeheartedly support the position of the Federal Government”;

“There should be a measure of control and regulation for social media in countries where they have a presence,” he counseled.

Buttressing his support of Twitter suspension in Nigeria, Nwoko stated that the social media platforms must pay taxes to governments and provide employment for citizens in return for the over 100 million population that subscribed to their services.

It will be recalled that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government on June 5, 2021 suspended Twitter indefinitely in Nigeria citing the persistent use of the platform for activities capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.

The government noted that social media platforms, just like the regular media, must also register and obtain licences to operate in Nigeria.

But the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, told newsmen after Wednesday’s (yesterday) virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) that the over two months’ ban on the social networking site, Twitter, in Nigeria will be lifted soon.

Mohammed said the Federal Government has reached an agreement with Twitter on most areas of misunderstanding.

As the Minister put it, progress has been made in resolving the stalemate following series of meetings.

In his reaction to the capitulation of Twitter, Ned Nwoko said all other international social media companies operating in Nigeria, such as Facebook and Instagram, should follow suit by setting up their offices in the country and pay appropriate taxes to the government of the country.

According to the Paris/London Club multi-billion dollars refund hero, “This is the only way forward for consumer protection in Nigeria, employment of Nigerians and steady revenue generation through tax revenues.”... read more

HOW RAINOIL BOSS COLLUDED WITH US BASED HACK WRITER AZUKA JEBOSE TO DEFAME NED NWOKO, OTHERS

For over five years, Gabriel Ogbechie, the Chief Executive of Rainoil, denied knowing or sponsoring a mercenary low writer named Azuka Jebose. He repeatedly and vehemently lied about having anything to do with the US based poor propagandist who wrote blatant lies and defamatory stories about renowned Lawyer, Prince Ned Nwoko, Nigerian Judges, the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, the Inspector General of Police, IGP and traditional rulers of Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state.

Jobose’s writings and tantrums were the result of Ogbechie instigated land disputes in the village called Idumuje-Ugboko, in Aniocha North Local Government Area, where both Prince Ned and Ogbechie himself hail from. Several people had called out Ogbechie over Jebose’s acidic writings that crudely violated hard earned reputation and integrity. But Ogbechie remained adamant that he had nothing to do with the cheap cash-for-pen writer.

But , at last, Ogbechie has been exposed to be a man without a sense of honour despite his corporate status as boss of a supposed big oil and gas company. The fact is there is now a conclusive and indisputable evidence that Ogbechie actually engaged Jebose to do his dirty job and has been feeding him with lies without caring about the barbaric defamation of the character of the distinguished, highly placed and very reputable people he was writing about. All because of Ogbechie’s desperation to stop Prince Ned Nwoko from building a university in their village, a developmental project approved by the Obi-in-Council, by the Land Allocation Committee and the entire village which was why the Aniocha North Local Government had no hesitation issuing him a Customary Right of Occupancy.
Now, we have in our possession full and irreducible evidence that the Rainoil boss, Gabriel Ogbechie, called Jebose 187 times feeding him with insipid and despicable lies to be used as propaganda against a much more accomplished folk, Prince Ned Nwoko, including government and judicial officers diligently carrying out their duties.

And why has Ogbechie been so desperate to frustrate Prince Ned’s project ?

The first is that he had hidden plan to establish a palm plantation on the land that was approved for Prince Ned. Having failed in all his awful plans despite his diabolical machinations and manipulations in the last four years, he went to Illah and Akwukwu in Oshimili North Local Government Area to acquire 5000 hectares of land for the palm plantation project displacing hundreds of farmers without adequate compensation . Unfortunately, because he is addicted to manipulating people everywhere he went to achieve his self centred goals, he tried to reenact his act in these two hitherto serene villages, creating enmity among them and now many of folks have risen against him and his project is stalled.

But there are other reasons for Ogbechie’s loathsome antagonistic tendencies towards a man he dubiously claims to be his brother and friend . Ogbechie somehow feels that Prince Ned is his rival and this delusion can only be described as ridiculous. He needs to recognise this unblemished fact. And one can say this with utmost sincerity that even if Ogbechie becomes the richest man in Nigeria tomorrow, he will never be judged as one of the Prince’s peers in any way.
While Ogbechie is a trader in oil and gas, Prince Ned is a world renowned Lawyer. He is a man whose contributions to the economy of his country and the welfare of its citizens will remain imperishable. Several reputable media organisations have credited him with almost single handedly pulling his country out of recession for his heroics in repatriating billions of dollars for Nigeria through the Paris Club refunds, the outcome of his judicial victory over the international financial behemoth . That gruelling legal battle he fought alone for his nation is uncommon act of patriotism and heroism that ushered him into the pantheon of Nigeria’s greatest men of all time. In a country that recognises sterling achievements, he probably would have been decorated with the country’s highest national honour.

This is infinitely beyond Ogbechie.

It is this profoundly adored reputation that Ogbechie seems irrepressibly determined to smear, a reason he has been concocting lies and paying Azuka Jebose to dramatise his own hate culture and shame on the media. Unfortunately, Ogbechie will never be able to affect Prince Ned’s personal life, business or political trajectory as the much more exposed Prince is always years ahead of his diabolical, even if, disgraceful plans.
This comprehensive exposure of Ogbechie’s fiendish collaboration with Jebose to lie perpetually about a noble character like Prince Ned further confirms the pathetic notion that he has always been a liar.
When his known allies hired hoodlums that unleashed an unprecedented terror and mayhem for a week in Idumuje-Ugboko in May 2017, an atrocious destruction that left two people dead , houses and properties destroyed, Ogbechie tried to rewrite the story of a palpable vicious act of terrorism. He claimed in a Vanguard publication that it was the youths of the village who only avenged a previous attack on people at the village Palace. And brazenly lied further as he asserted authoritatively that there was no destruction . But when the police began to arrest the hoodlums after establishing their culpability beyond any reasonable doubt , he came out to obtain bail for the criminals now facing terrorism charges. And worse still , he lied unashamedly about the real reason for the hoodlums’ arrests.

And only recently a young man named Ossy in a brief detention at the Kuje Correctional Centre, Abuja, exposed an assassination plot being hatched against Prince Ned Nwoko by same hoodlums that Ogbechie has obtaining bail for one after the other. This whistle blower eventually began to receive threat calls on his release. He wrote a petition to the IGP and stated categorically that the mastermind behind the assassination plot against Prince Ned is Gabriel Ogbechie. When the news of this shocking revelation hit the media like a wild fire and the police arrested Ogbechie for questioning, he was subjected to hours of interrogation.

But because Ogbechie pays scant attention, if any, to truth and honour, he denied being arrested by the police. So, one can ask easily, why would you lie about a police invitation if you are not desperate to hide something from the public. Why would you lie in unconscionable manner if your conscience is not bruised. When more and more revelation about his police encounter continued unabated, he was forced to reverse himself and made a press statement where he admitted he was actually ‘invited’, but in synch with his character, he claimed to have spent only fleeting minutes during which the police dismissed the petition against him for having no substance. The whistle blower eventually died under mysterious circumstances shortly after his petition about threats to his life.

Again, Ogbechie took to the media to deny ever knowing the late Ossy or having anything to do with his death.
But on Friday, March 12, 2021, the then IGP, Mohammed Adamu ordered a full scale investigation into circumstances surrounding the whistle blower’s death, a testament to the fact that the manner of his demise provokes curious questions. Ogbechie has continued with his strident denials, claiming not know the deceased whistle blower or having anything to do with his death. But how, just how can one now believe a man who engaged Azuka Jebose like a full time staff , made confirmed 187 calls to him and still denied ever having anything to do with the hack writer and his puerile writings. That is the pathetic story of Rainoil boss, Gabriel Ogbechie and the question of integrity and honour.
There are actually many unprintable lies told by the Rainoil boss all in his envy driven quest to stop Prince Ned, a demonic passion that continues to sizzle without any effect.

But now , the day of reckoning has come. With his sponsorship of Azuka Jebose now established, he will face the full wrath of the Law. He will need to explain what he knows about all the trash that his hack writer, Jebose , has been writing, not just about the Prince, but the immediate past Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami , among others.
Time ticks loud and clear for the Rainoil supremo..

The owa peace accord almost resolved the differences in Ugboko until Gabriel Ogbechie engaged Azuka Jebose. And the media war started in Ernest. Gabriel is the architect of modern ugboko crisis. All because he wants to be the Iyase and also, Nonso promised him the Stars university permanent site.

ALERT: IDUMUJE UGBOKO MAYHEM - PLOT TO BURY VICTIM IN UNIVERSITY SITE UNCOVERED

Press Release
14th June 2021.

This is to inform the general public that a sinister plot has been uncovered to bury the victim of the 2017 Idumuje -Ugboko mayhem on the site of the proposed STARS university in the community.

It would be recalled that one Cyprian Kumiolu was gruesomely murdered about 5 years ago allegedly by some hoodlums who shot him, following a violent attack on Idumuje ugboko, in Aniocha North local government area of Delta state.

Kumiolu, a young motor cycle rider, who hailed from Benue State was killed in cold blood in front of the royal palace and the corpse has not been found till date. His motorcycle was also set ablaze. Several suspects linked to the gory incident including Prince Chukwunonso Nwoko and Okey Ifejoku among others are facing prosecution for alleged murder and acts of terrorism.

It has become necessary to alert the world particularly security agents, following a dubious revelation last week by one Azuka Jebose, a serial blackmailer hired by the key suspects.

Jebose, a fugitive in America had falsely claimed in the social media that some workers at STARS university took the body to Asaba general hospital and subsequently removed it to an unknown destination. Let it be stated clearly that there is no general hospital in Asaba but the suspects are capable of bribing corrupt health workers to create medical records to give credence to their falsehood.

Again one of the prosecution witnesses Kachi Nwoko said he actually took part in the digging of the late Cyprian’s grave but subsequent search at the location close to the palace was futile as the body was not there. Kachi had explained to homicide detectives that the suspects changed their mind when they began to suspect that he was not entirely loyal to them.

According to Kachi they asked him to leave after the digging and he never witnessed the actual burial or disposal of the body. He has since left them to become the key prosecution witness.

Consequently, Jebose’s story is entirely false designed to create confusion in the minds of the public as it had been discovered from credible intelligence that the alleged masterminds of Cyprian’s murder are plotting to exhume his body from a secret location, then dig a fresh grave on the grounds of STARS university and bury his remains there.

It is pertinent to note that the university has a temporary location and permanent site which is over 20 miles from Prince Ned Nwoko’s country home. This alert has become imperative, as the permanent site is not fenced and guarded but prone to trespasses by mischievous elements.

We therefore urged the various security agencies to help in safeguarding the area and be vigilant in case of any freshly dug grave.

The desperation of the suspects and false propagandists in the Idumuje - ugboko terror attacks required that all security authorities and members of the public are put on notice to thwart their trickery and cover -up against justice.

This explains why Jebose spews falsehood at every turn. For a failed man, we are not surprised as he has no other work apart from the money he is getting from his principal paymaster, Dr Gabriel Ogbechie MD of Rain Oil. Unfortunately he cannot rewrite the events of May 2017, in Idumuje Ugboko. The witnesses are all alive and have made consistent statements to the police and the prosecutors.

Alas! Almost 5 years later, Jebose comes with a bogus story about Cyprian. But all these while he had been singing, claiming along with his sponsors that there was no one killed and no cyprain. Maybe Jebose is about to help point to where the body of the late cyprain was buried.

Nonetheless, what we think is that those who hired Jebose to lie want to use him to incriminate someone else in their scandalous murder of Cyprian. Sadly they have been in denial since 2017. They have told different stories at different times.

But it is hard to forget that there are witnesses who took part in digging a grave in the back of the palace. What was the grave for? Why did they ask Kachi Nwoko to leave after the digging? They have forgotten that there are witnesses who saw the body taken away in a car allegedly owned by one Uwadiegwu Nwoko.

A young man Asia Eze whom Jebose tried to recruit in futility to bear false witness had already told him that he was not there at Idumuje -Ugboko when the messy murder and destruction of property were perpetrated. It would be interesting for Jebose to come to court as a witness to give evidence of what Asia told him .

Recent attempts by a vicious group and their agents in and outside the country cannot negate or change established facts of police investigation.

Let the trial get going. Justice must be done against perpetrators of evil.

AUTHORITIES EXONERTES EX-LAWMAKER NED NWOKO OF LAND GRABBING ALLEGATION

AUTHORITIES EXONERATE EX-LAWMAKER NED NWOKO OF LAND GRABBING ALLEGATION.

*Mr Nwoko says he is committed to developing and entrenching peace in his Idumuje-Ugboko community.*

By Bisi Abidoye

A review of land documents and investigative reports by relevant authorities has confirmed that a former lawmaker, Ned Nwoko, duly acquired the land on which he is building a golf course and a university in his hometown in Delta State.

Ned Nwoko’s acquisition of 90 hectares of land for a golf course and another two miles by two miles parcel of land for a university had sparked controversy at his native Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

While all palace chiefs, the town development union and a majority of residents, local and state governments authorities, as well as law enforcement agencies, are queueing behind the former lawmaker, saying he acquired the land legitimately, a camp led by Chukwunonso Nwoko, the first son of the late king of the community, has continued to battle the businessman over the property.

The land crisis soon became linked to a kingship succession tussle in the community after the death of the king, Albert Nwoko, culminating in a violent clash in May 2017.

A motorcycle taxi operator identified as Cyprian Kumaroun was allegedly killed in the clash during which some leaders of the community, believed to be backing Ned Nwoko, were also beaten up and their properties vandalised.

Following the violent clash, the police charged some suspects to court but the case was thrown out after some of the suspects had spent about three years in police and prison custody.

The Ned Nwoko Land Acquisition
Ned Nwoko was a member of the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003. On March 16, 2015, he applied to the then king of the town, Albert Nwoko, for allocation of 90 hectares from the land set aside by the community for development projects.

In the application he made through his company, Linas International Ltd, Ned Nwoko, who is also a member of the ruling family of the community, said he wanted to build a golf course on the land.

He also requested another two miles by two miles parcel of land to build the permanent site of his private university. The former lawmaker has started developing the temporary site of the STAR University on a part of 33 hectares of land the community had earlier allocated to him in 2001 to start a dairy farm.

In his response to the fresh application, through a letter addressed to Mr Nwoko and dated April 10, 2015, the king conveyed his approval of the application.

In the letter titled “Request for Additional 90 Hectares of Land for Golf Course Development and Land for Sports University”, the king said “the town will go into partnership with your company by investing the capitalized value of the land at the appropriate rate in the golf course. The land for the university will be donated by the village.”

Ned Nwoko then paid one million naira to the community to cover the administrative cost of land cutting and allocation, as confirmed by a handwritten receipt signed by the community secretary, Somanyina Nwoko, and dated June 2, 2015.

This was followed on July 16, 2015, by a “Letter of Allocation” also signed by the community secretary.

Aniocha and the Customary Right of Occupancy
On July 8, 2015, Mr Nwoko through his said company applied to the Aniocha North Local Government for a Customary Right of Occupancy (CRO) for the 90 hectares of land.

In line with the law, the local government council published a Public Notice on the application on December 14, 2015, seeking any objection that might discourage it from granting the CRO.

Seven months later on July 20, 2016, the local government issued the CRO for the land through a letter addressed to Mr Nwoko.

Chuks Oseme, the chairman of the local government at the time, said after Prince Chukwunonso and his camp raised objection over the allocation of the land to Mr Nwoko, he made a fact-finding visit to the late king.

“As a result of an objection, I decided to pay the Obi a visit for further clarification in which I discovered that Prince Ned’s claims were genuine in which the then Obi confirmed issuing the approval letter following the recommendation by the land allocation committee,” Mr Oseme said. “The Right of Occupancy was therefore issued with all the necessary procedures followed.”

Chukwunonso Nwoko Vs Ned Nwoko: The battles
Although several documents and palace chiefs confirmed that Mr Nwoko duly acquired the 90 hectares of land, the acquisition is being challenged by the Prince Chukwunonso camp which also filed a civil suit on the matter.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding between the community and Mr Nwoko, the community would take a 40 per cent share in the golf course to be built on the 90 hectares of land.

Although it was stated in the MoU that the 90 hectares for the golf course is the community’s land, Mr Nwoko said the neighbouring town of Onicha-Ugbo later established its ownership of about 80 per cent of the land and has taken compensation from him.

Mr Nwoko also presented evidence of compensation paid to some members of the Idumuje-Ugboko community who proved they had farms on portions of the land.

However, all that could not avert the dispute over the allocation of the land. The crisis, which has now snowballed into a dispute over the throne of the community, flared a few months after the king communicated the approval of the application to Mr Nwoko.

This occurred after a letter dated August 12, 2015, was read in churches in the community in which the late king was quoted to have disproved the allocation of the land. The letter was circulated by Prince Chukwunonso and two other princes.

Walters Eziashi, a former President of the Idumuje-Ugboko Development Union (IDU) and an ally of Ned Nwoko, said efforts by prominent indigenes to clarify the turn of event from the king were frustrated by Prince Chukwunonso and his brothers who blocked access to their father. At that time, the king was 89, weak and mostly kept indoors at the palace. He died two years later in 2017.

On January 16, 2016, the princes filed a civil suit at the Issele-Uku high court, claiming the process for the land allocation was improper. The respondents in the suit were Aniocha North Local Government council, Ned Nwoko, and his company Linas International Ltd.

The chief judge of the state later reassigned Suit No. HCI/2/2016 to another judge and it is still ongoing at the Agbor High Court. But one of the princes, Edwin Nwoko, has since withdrawn from the suit.

While the princes accused Ned Nwoko of forging their father’s signature on the letter communicating the allocation of the land, the former lawmaker on his part accused the princes of forging the signature of their father on the letter of disproval.

The Police Wade In
The two sides then wrote petitions to the police in which they traded accusations of forgery of the signature of the king. In the petition by Ned Nwoko, his ally, Mr Eziashi, urged the police to investigate the veracity of the letter of disproval.

On their part, the three princes, through their lawyer, Ezenwah and Ezenwah, accused Ned Nwoko of forging the Obi’s signature and of threatening the life of Prince Chukwunonso. In another petition of March 17, 2017, they accused Ned Nwoko and others of harassment. They also alleged that he forcefully entered and desecrated the palace.

NIGERIA: Nigerian police force

But the police have since issued an investigative report, saying the signature of the king on the two documents was genuine. But the report also indicted the princes of a criminal act and recommended their prosecution. It stated:

“The investigation further revealed that Prince Justin (Chukwunonso) Nwoko conspired with Ejimofor Nwoko, Izehumo Nwoko and Richard Nwoko and fraudulently used their relationship with HRM A. O. Nwoko (JP) to procure him to sign a document purporting to be denying the above portion of land which the community had earlier granted to the owner of Linas International Limited without the knowledge of the Izu-ani members,” the police said.

“It is glaringly clear from the foregoing findings that though His Royal Majesty, Obi A.O. Nwoko 111 (JP) signed all the documents in relation to Idumuje-Ugboko community land but the discreet investigation into the signing processes by Obi A.O. Nwoko unequivocally revealed that Prince Justin Nwoko acting in concert with Ejimofor Nwoko, Izehumo Nwoko and Richard Nwoko fraudulently used their intimate relationship and took advantage of Obi A.O. Nwoko 111 who is currently bedridden to procure him into signing a document purporting to be denying the land which the Idumuje-Ugboko community had earlier granted to Prince Ned Nwoko to build golf course development and sport university after a due consideration of the request by Izu-ani members and it is on this premise that we humbly recommend that Prince Justin Nwoko and his cohorts should be charged to court for the offences provided in section 516,249 (D) and 471 of the Criminal Code Law of Delta State as this will go a long way to ensure peace and harmony in the said Idumuje-Ugboko.

“The suspects will soon be charged to court please.”

Reprieve for Ned Nwoko as Delta Intervenes
On February 24, 2016, the police invited the three princes, Chukwunonso, Ejimofor and Richard; and the others named in Mr Eziashi’s petition.

They were subsequently charged before a magistrate court in the state capital, Asaba, in Suit No SMC/420C/2016. The court granted them bail but because they could not meet the conditions immediately, they spent some days in police custody.

Four years on, the issues remain unresolved and most of the cases are still before the court.

Apart from the investigation carried out by the Delta State Command of the Police, the police headquarters in Abuja also looked into the case based on a complaint by Chris Alaigbe and a few other individuals. The petitioners had accused Ned Nwoko of unleashing terror on their community and grabbing land from peasant farmers.

But in its report dated November 23, 2020, the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit said its investigation showed that the allegations against Ned Nwoko were false and that the disputed parcels of land were legitimately acquired by the businessman.

PREMIUM TIMES also learnt that the Delta State Command of the State Security Service also investigated the matter and came to the same conclusion.

The Delta State government has also conducted an inquiry into the matter, with a team led by Edwin Uzor (the special adviser to the governor on peacebuilding and conflict resolution) meeting with all parties to the crisis.

In a February 18, 2021 report, the investigative team reached the following conclusions:

– That the Chairman, Linas International Limited of No. 4 Anambra River Crescent, Maitama Abuja, Nigeria, followed due process in procuring the said land.

– That all the necessary documents such as survey plan, university brochure, His Royal Majesty Obi Albert Nwoko and community approval of the entire land were obtained.

– There was an MOU between Linas International Limited and Idumuje-Ugboko community.

– That the police investigation, as signed by ACP Banmaminan, recommended that Prince Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko should be charged to court of competent jurisdiction for giving false information to the police contrary to Section 125 (A) of criminal code law as it is evidently clear that his life was not threatened as alleged.

The team then recommended that the contentious parcels of land should remain allocated to Ned Nwoko since a police forensic investigation clearly established that the land acquisition documents in the possession of the former lawmaker are authentic.

Having been cleared by law enforcement and other authorities, Ned Nwoko has, therefore, proceeded with the building of the mini campus of the university and the golf course. In May, the Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, visited the project in connection with the processing of its application for a licence from the National Universities Commission (NUC).

When our reporters met Prince Chukwunonso, he insisted his battle with Ned Nwoko is far from over despite the verdicts of several authorities on the matter. “This fight will not end until justice is done,” he said

On his part, Mr Nwoko said in spite of the controversy and years-long attacks on him by the Prince Chukwunonso camp, he remained committed to developing and entrenching peace in his Idumuje-Ugboko community.

"We know that mosquitoes breed in a dirty environment and one of our approaches is proper waste management through which in Nigeria, over 3 million jobs will be created for youths as each LGA in the country will be assisted to manage their wastes"

The statement read further that the place of *CLEAN ENVIRONMENT* in the promotion of good health, can not be merely waved aside as it is one of the most important factor for good health.

Clean environment promotes good health more than fighting malaria.

Malaria depends on females mosquitos anopheles to transport it to and fro human and animals. If there are no female mosquitos, malaria will loose it's prominent carrier.
Now these mosquitos can only breed in a dirty environment (dustbins, stillwater, waste cans, etc), so ensuring a clean environment will frustrate the reproduction of the malaria killer agent/carrier mosquito.

Prince Ned Nwoko had said that Nigerians will learn new attitude towards Cleanliness. This cleanliness will also benefit the people saving them from other Dirty Environmental Related Sicknesses and diseases.

It is therefore imperative that we begin to learn, adopt and teach all others the NEED FOR A TOTAL CLEAN ENVIRONMENT as it promotes good health and fight against mosquito reproduction in the country.

Statistics shows that Nigeria has the highest burden of Malaria related sickness and death in the world with other five African countries following in the top six.

On this World Environmental day, let's begin to Clean up your surroundings as that will reduce mosquitoes reproduction because mosquitoes are of no good to the environment.
